USA Football’s U.S. Men’s and Women’s Flag Football National Teams won gold medals in front of an international crowd of approximately 1,000 spectators at the conclusion of the 2023 IFAF Americas Continental Flag Football Championship on UNC Charlotte’s campus Friday, July 7.
WOMEN'S GOLD MEDAL GAME
The World Champions added the IFAF Americas Flag Football World Championship to their collection on a balmy Friday night in North Carolina, but it was close as the United States edged Mexico 26-21.
Only four points out of 76 scored in a thrilling men’s Gold Medal game at the IFAF Americas Flag Football Championships separated the United States and Mexico, with the Americans narrowly coming out on top.
IFAF selected officials from each visiting federation represented at the men’s and women’s competitions to join those from the host nation at the US Performance Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
